Our Specialized Behavioral and Emotional Care Program is based on a non-pathological view of creating therapeutic environments. Process-oriented, humanistic approaches to care and services allow residents to be who they are. Our staff tries to approach human interactions and behaviors with curiosity and with hope for a deeper understanding about their meaning. In turn, this understanding informs how best to support and care for each resident. Staff, clinicians, and interns are committed to creating compassionate, non-judgmental, and supportive environments for residents with high acuity needs.
