Founded in 1977, the Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory assists
patients in recognizing the signs and symptoms of vascular
disease. Committed to early detection, the laboratory offers
screening examinations and complex vascular imaging procedures.
Since its inception, the laboratory has been recognized as
a leader in the use of vascular ultrasound to improve patient
care. The laboratory’s staff of
five are clinically skilled Registered Vascular Technologists credentialed
by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). |
The Director and physicians specialize in vascular surgery and
also hold ARDMS credentials. With four
locations in the East Bay, the Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory
performs over 5,000 procedures annually, serving patients in the
communities of Oakland, San Leandro, and Alameda. State-of-the-art
color duplex ultrasound imaging equipment with sono CT is utilized
at each site. Laboratory hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday–Friday,
with a technologist available for weekend emergencies.
