Injections (continued):
• Elevate your legs if you can post injections
and try to avoid prolonged standing the day
of the injections; however, walking
is greatly encouraged.
• Make a follow-up appointment about one
week after your injections for recheck
and
possible removal of trapped blood.
• Normal activities and exercise
can be resumed
one day after injections.
• After the procedure, walking
at least 3 times per day for at least
20 minutes is strongly encouraged.

Remember that probably only 60-80% of the veins will tend to go
away with a series of injections and repeat injections may be required
for complete eradication of the veins. In rare instances, the veins
do not respond to injection.
