Executive Director
Regular, Full-Time, Benefited, Exempt
Objective:
To develop and implement fundraising programs to support
Alameda Hospital while building an endowment to
help provide for the future.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s
degree preferred
• Major gifts experience involving both face-to-face solicitation
as well as development of a systematic development program
with an emphasis on building strong relationships with
donors
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and
be able to communicate effectively with fellow employees
and Executive Management Team members.
• Personal commitment to the City of Alameda and Alameda
Hospital
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint programs
• Demonstrated success in working as a team player as well
as independently
• Experiernce in developing and implementing a successful
broad-based membership program
• Proven success in planning and organizing fundraising
events
• Experience in formulating long-range and annual plans
and executing them successfully
• Strong organization skills and familiarity with annual
planning and budgeting
• Experience with membership and donor tracking software
• Capital campaign experience is a plus
• Passion for working in a non-profit environment and inspiring
volunteers
• Substantial marketing and public relations experience
