The Business Services department is dedicated to helping you with the often-complicated process of obtaining payment for your care. Alameda Hospital accepts most major health insurance plans including Medicare and Medi-Cal. If you do not have health insurance coverage, we will accept payment by cash, check, credit card, or money order. Our financial counselor can help you with your financial situation.

Pre-registration
Prior to your visit, you may complete a pre-registration form (download form here) and FAX it to (510) 814-4019.

Personal Payment and Cash Pricing
For patients without health insurance, Alameda Hospital offers a discount pricing structure for Cash payments. Discount cash fees for common tests and procedures can be found here.

Physician Bills
The physicians who practice at Alameda Hospital have their own independent practices and are not employees of the hospital. You will receive a separate bill from them (if more than one) for services rendered during your hospital stay. This includes, but not limited to, the ER physicians, pathologists, anesthesiologists, and radiologists.
